This is my 8th year of teaching. I have a major in Secondary Social Studies Education, and Elementary Education, K-8. I currently teach middle school, but taught 1st grade for five years. My experience includes teaching in the Title I public schools, as well as the private school, and homeschool sector. Additionally, I have worked at the high school level as a Teacher Leader with the People to People and Leader Ambassador programs.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Education Degree with a major in Secondary Social Studies Education and Elementary Education, with a minor in Communication Studies from Eastern Washington University. I have a Washington State Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in grades K-8, as well as an Idaho Standard Elementary Teaching Certificate.
I am a wife to an amazing outdoor enthusiast, and mom to two sweet kids. As a family, we love to go hiking, canoeing, camping, swimming, and skiing. We live on the lake, and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of lake-life everyday. We are actively involved in our church and other ministries in our community. I love to travel, and have visited over 14 countries around the world.
