TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently teaching my 7th year of Elementry Music. I am certified Orff-Schulwerk Level III (certification recieved through Trinity University in San Anotnio, TX). I have also taken World Music Drumming Level I in Houston, TX. My career began in Waco, TX where I worked with approximately 400 students in Grades K-5. Then I moved to San Antonio, TX where I have had the honor of serving the students and families of two different schools. I had the privelege of opening the school I am currently at, as they broke ground in 2010! I have presented at several of my school district's local elementary music teacher's meetings. I am a member of Central Texas Orff and attend as many workshops as I can! I also provide my services as a piano judge for the Texas Federation of Music Clubs State Jr. Festival held each year in San Marcos, TX.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach using various methods but I am most concentrated and skilled in the areas of Orff and Kodaly.
