TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 7 years in the Higley Unified School District in Gilbert/Queen Creek, Arizona where I have taught both 6th and 7th grade Social Studies. My current assignment is teaching 7th grade Social Studies, which is an American History Course that traces the events and their effects on the United States and the world from the beginning of the U.S. Civil War to the start of World War II.

MY TEACHING STYLE

In my classroom the primary method of teaching is inquiry based, in which students work both individually and through cooperative learning through a variety of engaging activities using primary and secondary sources.
