TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have previously taught 3rd grade for 2 years. The last 6 years I have taught Middle School Social Studies, specifically 7th and 8th grade. This year I embark on solely 8th grade Social Studies, for which I am very excited about.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in teaching the whole student, productive struggles and multiple learning styles. To that end my project tend to revolve around many choices and creativity while demanding literacy skills and providing relevant challenges. I enjoy learning new pedagogy and keeping up with technology.
