I have been teaching since 2005. Teaching is a second career for me and I have enjoyed making a difference in the lives of today's youth. I have taught all grade levels from 1 to 5.
I take a constructivist approach to learning. I prefer to facilitate but not dictate the learning that occurs in my classroom. I encourage students to ask questions and then find the answers to their questions through research and exploration.
I am a member of Pi Lambda Theta for teacher excellence. Recipient of the Monsignor Tereny Award at Mount Saint Mary's University.
Graduate with BS in Education at Mount Saint Mary's University. Graduate classes at University of Phoenix. Graduate classes at Drake University. Currently in graduate school at McDaniel College.
I enjoy biking, hiking, canoeing, skiing, fishing and spending time with my wife, kids, and family.
