TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My name is Mikey, and I help teachers create meaningful, purposeful time in their upper elementary classrooms for social emotional learning and all of the awesome goodies that go with it! I have been teaching for 16 years, and my experience has been in Grades 4-6. I've taught Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, and Science throughout the course of my career. SEL and Trauma-Informed Teaching are my passions!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I rely on the Workshop model to do the bulk of my educating - from station rotations to small group time with me, the Workshop model allows me to meet all of my students exactly where they are. I also use PBL and STEM style teaching with my students as well!
