I am an early career educator who has been teaching for the past four years! My strengths are classroom organization, hands on project based learning, arts integration techniques, and creating resources that are easily implemented by teachers and accessible for all levels of learners!
I love for students to be completely engaged in their own learning! I like for students to create, build, and showcase all of their project based learning! I want students to feel that the classroom is their home and their opportunity to open their minds to a forever love of learning. Through project based learning, my goal is for students to become independent learners who are masters of their own academic abilities.
Just finished my National Board Certification (waiting to hear that I passed!) Early Career Educators Committee Leader Faculty Advisory Chair at my elementary school Community Schools Coordinator
I graduated from Ithaca College in 2015 with a degree in political science and marketing communications. I graduated from a Teacher Leadership course through the University of Maryland and I am now working on a graduate program at the university in TESOL.
When I’m not teaching, you can find me enjoying the outdoors with a run, hike, or bike, traveling, hanging out with friends, listening to my favorite music playlist, and playing with clothes, makeup, and jewelry!
