I have been teaching second grade for 19 years. I am very fortunate to have many technology items that I integrate into the classroom daily. This is my 13th year using a Smart Board. I have 30 iPod Touches that I share with 2 other second grade classrooms. We have an iPod charge cart & a storage system. I have 5 iPad minis, 10 Nexus Tablets, a Smart Document Camera 330, a Flip Cam, LE Response System, microphone/speaker system, Alpha Smarts, Apple TV, Wii, and digital camera. I am currently a PowerTeacher trainer for my school district. I am also the Webmaster for the Union Elementary website. I have presented at the SmartEd Ohio Free Technology Conference in Sandusky, Ohio in 2010 and in Toledo, Ohio 2011. I have also presented for the 2010 NWOET (Northwest Ohio Educational Technology) Technology Conference in Bowling Green, Ohio. I presented at the 2012 Ohio eTech Conference in Columbus, Ohio and I will also be presenting at the 2013 Ohio eTech Conference this February. As a professional educator, sharing my passion of technology with other teachers is so rewarding! I greatly enjoy sharing ideas and supporting teachers who attend my technology sessions. We have traded many technology ideas and given support to each other over the years through email and Facebook. I am a blog addict! Visit my professional blog @ http://iintegratetechnology.blogspot.com You can also visit Facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/iintegratetechnology or Twitter @ integratetechnology Students today are growing up in a world overflowing with a variety of high-tech tools, from computers and video games to increasingly sophisticated mobile devices. I am constantly challenging myself to learn new ways to integrate technology into my classroom! I make technology an important part of my classroom because I want to help my students acquire the skills they need to survive in a complex, highly technological knowledge-based economy. I have just opened my "store" on TeachersPayTeachers. I am truly thankful for those of you who share your wonderful ideas. You help enrich my classroom. I hope soon to give as much as I have received this last year on TeachersPayTeachers.
