I have been a teacher for over twenty years that I started in China and continue in the United States. I have taught students from toddlers to adults. Currently I am teaching middle school and high school Chinese. Teaching is my chosen career since I enjoy working with students.
I love to teach language in cultural context by creating lessons and activities that engage students with different learning abilities and intelligences. For example, I teach Chinese calligraphy and brush painting in order for my students to learn Chinese language, art and philosophy in authentic context. I also like to teach Chinese in rhythm and rhymes. I have incorporated and written many rhymes that teach students the basic language information in an efficient and effective way.
