I graduated from NAU in 2012. Upon graduation I moved to Virginia where I substitute taught grades preK-12. After a year of subbing I moved back to Arizona to teach middle school science. For the past few years I have been teaching 5th grade in Tempe, Arizona. I am presently teaching middle school science in Tempe, Az.
Our classroom engages in a significant amount of Project based learning where we utilize constructivism and student guided routines. Students are able to create their own learning under my supervision and guidance. Project based learning allows students to take ownership of their learning, making the learning a more personal and engaging experience in the long term.

Throughout my education and life I have been involved in science education. In 2002 I graduated from the West-Wind Academy of Massage Therapy. Including my studies at Mesa Community College, Northern Arizona University, Arizona State University, I have earned over 160 credit hours in the life sciences content area alone.
