TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching Kindergarten for over 10 years. I truly love my job and have wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher since I was in Kindergarten!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I run a very loving but very structured classroom. I follow a Responsive Classroom Approach to Behavior Management, as well as use the First Six Weeks methods at the beginning of each school year. I try to incorporate as much Balanced Literacy and Thematic Teaching as I can. I like to describe myself a a very sweet and caring teacher that holds my students to high expectations, sets good examples, and strives each day to present my students with effective and exciting learning activities!
