TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Ten years teaching 8th grade US history in Dallas' top ranked comprehensive middle school. Two years as department head. Currently working as Campus Instructional Coach. My students consistently led the history department in test scores and my school consistently outscores the rest of the district. I am also an assessment writer for the district and have designed the 8th grade history curriculum for my school for the past nine years. I have extensive experience in writing curriculum, assessments, and assignments which are aligned to the standards.
