TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began my teaching career in 2009, and I currently teach a Intermediate Intense Resource Room for students with Multiple Disabilities. I work with students with a wide variety of skills and abilities, across multiple grade levels. Therefore, in my classroom we cover a large range of content in language arts and math, as well as, science, social studies, social skills, body awareness, and sensory motor activities. Everyday is a new, fun and exciting experience!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love teaching fun, engaging lessons that get my students excited about learning. I enjoy using a multi-sensory approach so I can reach all my students learning abilities. Creating differentiated lessons is a key component in my classroom!

I attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, and a Master's in Education. I hold a Intervention Specialist License: Mild to Moderate.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I live in Beavercreek, Ohio with my wonderful husband and 3 adorable children. My daughter is 8, and in Second Grade, my boys are 6 and 4 years old, and full of energy. I love yoga, CrossFit, coffee, and chocolate! I sub classes at a local studio when time allows, but do yoga with my students everyday! I also love art, drawing, reading, and play games with my kids. Life right now is crazy, busy, and bundles of fun! I really enjoy creating new resources for my classroom and also my own kiddos at home. Everything I create is kid tested and approved! I hope you can find some of my resources useful and enjoy using them as much as I do!
