TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm currently entering my 9th year of teaching & my 7th year in my current district! For the last 6 years, I have taught at least one section of self-contained English and have also pushed in to general education English & Math classes. This year I'm shaking things up with a jump to a self-contained fifth grade classroom, so be on the lookout for tons of new products!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to get my students moving & interacting, so I'm a huge proponent of cooperative learning! I also love to teach Close Reading & Vocabulary, which are my two areas of research interest.
