TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been working with children since I was 14-years-old. I have tutored and taught children ages 1 to 12. I began as a tutor for a 6-year-old and by age 16 I was a Nanny of three young girls. At 18 I began working as an assistant daycare manager. I helped teach children ages 1 to 4. I was teaching them preschool to kindergarten curriculum. I began working in the district as a paraprofessional in SDC for 9 months and then subbed as a paraprofessional for 1 year. For 3 months I was a substitute for Reading Intervention where I learned to write and implement lesson plans for a variety of grade levels. I am currently a RSP teacher for grades 9-12

MY TEACHING STYLE

Student-Centered Approach I believe that as a TEAM we can achieve anything and as a TEAM I like to work. I also maintain authority of the classroom, however, I like my students to participate and learn through Total Physical Response and hands-on activities. I get easily bored, so I wouldn't want my kids to be bored too.
