I'm entering year 8 of my teaching career. All high school. All science. No regrets. :)
I teach to my students. What is done in one class period doesn't always work best for the next. There is usually a healthy mix of instructional strategies and a dash of humor in each of my lesson plans.
My shining moments as a teacher always involve the "aha" moments for students whether it's in my classroom as they master a challenging concept of the semester after they graduate when they pop back by my classroom to let me know how much my course helped prepare them for college.
B.S. in Biology and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, both from Georgia Southern University.
