I was a Level 3 English Teacher at a Language School in Montreal, Canada. This position introduced me to the challenges of running my own classroom and was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Watching students from Morocco, Russia, and Japan grow and learn together in the English language was an honor, and I am thrilled to say that all of my students completed my class to move on to Level 4. I keep in touch with many of these students and have watched their continued progression in the English language. They continue to amaze and inspire me. I am a mother to my one-year-old son, I have babysat regularly since age 11, I worked as a French Teaching Assistant for children aged 2-6 years old, a private nanny for 2 families of children under 6 years old, and a private tutor for 3 elementary to high school aged students. Working with children energizes me and brings me great joy, and adding the component of teaching to the relationship is what will enable me to feel that my affinity for children is being channeled into something productive that will affect their future.
