I am a third year 6th grade teacher in Upstate New York. I love teaching and couldn't imagine doing anything else!
I believe student inquiry based learning is crucial for any students' success. Having such a diverse group of learners who range from Gifted and Talented, to English Language Learners, to average learners, to students who are well below grade level, I find differentiation in a hands-on-learning extremely important. Including students in their learning will help them gain ownership of their learning and in turn will help them want to be successful.
