I was a classroom teacher for two decades mostly in the 3rd to 5th grade levels. Now I help our local homeschool group with their various activities.
Each child has gifts and drawbacks unique to themselves. I like to teach so as to bring out each student's strengths and help them fill in the gaps in their weak places.
I am a published author of children's books. Chickens May Not Cross the Road and Other Crazy But True Laws is my biggest claim to fame.
I have a bachelor's in education and guidance. Along the way, I picked up skills not taught in college, but necessary for a healthy classroom situation.
I'm married with one adopted daughter. I'm not currently in a classroom situation, but still work with children at the library and the homeschool group.
