TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have just recently completed my student teaching and currently hold a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies with a California multiple subject teaching credential. I also hold a couple certificates in child development. During my coursework I wrote many lesson plans and fell in love with the process. Prior to obtaining my degree, I volunteered daily at a local elementary school as a library assistant, teacher’s assistant, lunchroom attendant, noon duty, and as the occasional office worker.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I do not feel that I have set myself into any particular style. I borrow from a number of different styles, and patch together what works for what I need accomplished.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

None to date.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I studied at Cerro Coso Community College and graduated with an A.S. degree. I transferred to National University where I earned a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies with a California multiple subject teaching credential. In the future, I plan to get a Master’s degree in library sciences.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love being in the classroom, but I am unable to work right now due to an injury. I truly enjoy making lesson plans, so this is a small way in which I can continue to contribute to the field of education. ALL of my lesson plans are based on California standards. If you need something specific, feel free to send me a message.
