TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught preschool to fifth grade at different times throughout college. I taught 5th grade for 4 years. Right now I am teaching fourth grade reading and I find it is my favorite! I graduated in 2012 and started working in 5th grade right away. I make the items in my store as I teach my students. Things that help me are most likely going to help my fellow teachers. It is important to remember to tailor my work to your students!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love group work! I also have a classroom of computers so I incorporate them as much as possible.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Just notes from my students calling my "the greatest teacher ever." :) As my career progresses I hope to add accomplishments to this list. Some things I can add! Golden Mouse Awards for my school Lesson Plan writer for my school Nominated for teacher of the year each year, but I decline the honor to be in the running. My school had the highest 4th grade achievement on standardized tests in Reading and Math in 2017.
