TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a 2nd grade inclusion teacher at a Title I school in Florida! My favorite word is "yet" and I am a huge advocate for using Growth Mindset in your classroom. I came into teaching to make a difference and to help those students who feel school isn't for them. Previously, I have been a Registered Behavior Technician for Leon County Schools through BMC, Inc, a Training and Research Specialist for the State of Florida, an EBD teacher for grades K-2nd, a Varying Exceptionalities co-teacher (K-3rd), a STEAM teacher at The Challenger Learning Center and FSU/FAMU's College of Engineering, and an after school Legal Studies teacher at a juvenile detention center for children deemed incompetent to stand trial.
