As a dual certified elementary and special education teacher, I have extensive experience teaching multiple grade levels. I began my career as a special education teacher focusing on 5th grade Mathematics and Science. My experience in special education sharpened my ability to modify curriculum according to each child's strengths and needs while working towards their individual goals. The next chapter in my career led me to tackling 4th grade Language Arts and Social Studies. This is where I discovered my love for teaching creative writing and helping my students' reading skills flourish. In my spare time, I truly enjoy creating resources to aid my struggling students feel more confident in their skills. Being a very passionate educator, I hope that my resources help you reach students who are having academic difficulties.

I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Special Education with a minor in American Studies at La Salle University. According to their widely known Education Program, I spent an entire year as a student teacher while attending seminars in the evening. Half of my year was spent in an all special needs school where I reinforced my skills as a Special Education teacher and honed my ability to write and implement Individualized Education Plans. The next half of my senior year was spent in a General Education 4th grade class where I fell in love with teaching writing and history. I graduated in May of 2013 Magna Cum Laude and began my teaching career in September.
