I have been teaching for eleven years. I starting teaching in an intervention specialist setting, but have been working with an academically independent program within a public school setting for the last eight years. I work with gifted students and love everything about it!
My teaching style evolves as I evolve as a person, and as I learn more about the field and the kids. However, I believe the core of who I am and what remains consistent is my high expectations for my students, and the importance of creativity. If I am bored with it, they will be bored with it, too. If I fall in love with it over and over again, I hope those around me, will as well. It will be what I make it.
