I'm a K-12 ESL Teacher for a public school system in North Carolina and will be graduating with my Master of Arts in Teaching in December!
I am huge on culturally responsive teaching as well as pre-teaching vocabulary. Students learn language best when exposed to it in meaningful contexts, not memorizing lists of words.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 with degrees in Linguistics and Spanish. I'm currently pursuing my Masters of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language at North Carolina State University.
After graduating from college I lived in Taiwan for two years working with university students.
