TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I did my student teaching as an 11th grad US history teacher at a gold ribbon California school. I taught my students using various strategies, integration of technology, and detailed simulations. I am currently a Computer Science teacher at a K-5 school. I teach my students how to navigate the internet in a safe and responsible way and use the tools of the internet and technology to their advantage.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that students are learning best when they are engaged in various ways. Creating diverse types of lessons helps to keep this sort of engagement. I like creating detailed simulations and choose your own adventure activities. A lot of my activities are student self paced and allow for student choice as a way of demonstrating their understanding of the lesson.
