I have taught Spanish 1, 2, and 3 in middle and high school. I taught in a public school in Baltimore for 4 years and a private school in NYC for 3 years. I love creating my own materials for my classes and helping students take steps toward learning a second (and sometimes third!) language!
I think it's really important to get students talking. We do lots of choral repetition, especially with new or relatively new vocabulary. I love helping kids remember words and how to say them by relating them to things that sound naughty in English ;) I make sure to do listening, speaking, reading, and writing every day if possible. I also like to play games when they help reenforce vocabulary or grammar!

I graduated from the University of Maryland College Park in 2007. I spent a semester in Alicante, Spain in 2005 and lived in St. Petersburg, Russia for the 2007-2008 school year. I have bachelors degrees in secondary foreign language education, Spanish language, and Russian language. I finished my Master's degree in Urban Education in May 2015.
I love traveling and I have been fortunate enough to have been abroad a few times and seen much of Europe and Russia. I also love camping and kayaking and sometimes I enjoy knitting. I have an adorable guinea pig named Honey :) Blog: http://misssenoritatpt.blogspot.com/ Facebook: Miss Señorita Pinterest: Miss Señorita Instagram: MissSeñoritaTpt
