I have the wonderful privilege of teaching middle school students for the past nine years! We've had a blast learning grammar, especially those prepositions, creating cultural master pieces in social studies, and reading exciting and thought-provoking books in our literature class. I am constantly creating and recreating activities for my classes and thought, why not share?! My students love the projects and their input has always been incorporated into the creating process so I hope your students will enjoy them as well!
I keep my middle school students busy! I love their energy so the work we do in class is a reflection of that. With a positive, energetic approach, students share their ideas and work hard to show what they know and apply their knowledge in a variety of settings.
Teacher of the Year 2010
I graduated the University of Wisconsin- Platteville with a major in Early Adolescence, ages 10-14, and a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. My post graduation area of study focuses on reading.
I've focused my teaching career to working with middle school students. I currently teach 6th grade social studies, reading, and language arts. I truly enjoy creating activities and projects that keep students engaged, as well as, critically thinking about the concepts. Any time I can make the lesson planning process smoother, I'm all about it! I hope these products help you too!
