I have taught all of the primary grades... Second, first, kindergarten, and a self-contained K/1 bridge class! I love them all and there is something truly unique about each and every grade level!
I love all things bright, colorful, and cheery. As a special education teacher at heart, I am a big advocate of differentiation. I love the challenge of finding ways to reach my students.
My biggest reward is watching my students day in and day out, unsure if they are academically and personally growing as much as I hope... Until one day something amazing happens and I realize that they have met my expectations and then some :)
Studied early childhood and childhood general education and students with disabilities for undergrad. Specialized in literacy for my masters program.
I can not wait to create and share more of my ideas with you!
