I am a UK-qualified teacher with eight years of teaching experience. I have worked and lived in five different countries and have delivered the UK National Curriculum, the international Primary Curriculum and the IB PYP. Most of my experience has been teaching Key Stage Two (grades 4, 5 and 6) although this year I am taking on the challenge of Grade 1! Also, I have recently taken on the role of Writing Co-ordinator at the British School of Manila, as well as launching my online English resources business, www.misstiffinstales.com

I attended local schools in my home town of Jarrow, Newcastle, UK. I had fantastic teachers who inspired me to be the best that I could be. I still remember them today.
Originally, I created Miss Tiffin’s Tales to share the stories I wrote for my classes- my students loved them and they encouraged me to self-publish! Over time, however, I began to write complete units based on each story- units aimed at sparking creativity and imagination amidst even the most reluctant writers. Now, Miss Tiffin’s Tales aims to be a principal resource for Primary educators across the world. Currently, schools in the UK, Switzerland, UAE, Germany and the Philippines are using Miss Tiffin’s Tales to compliment their English curricula. Thank you to all of those teachers and students who are already part of the MTT community!
