TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 6,7, and 8th grade Math and Science at a Montessori style Catholic School in Toledo, Ohio. I am currently employed at a Middle School in Mentor, Ohio teaching 6,7,and 8th grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to use inquiry based activities in my classes. I think it is important for students to have hands on activities that they can relate the content to. I feel that it is very important to allow students to have the opportunity to make connections to the real world when they are learning in the classroom.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Mentor High School in 2009. I then attended Bowling Green State University to pursue my undergraduate degree in Middle Childhood Education. I specialized in Math, Science, and Reading grades 4-9. I have had experience in private as well as public schools with grades 6-8.

In my free time I enjoy working out, training for half marathons, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends.
