I currently serve as one of our campus' Instructional coaches and coach the Academic Decathlon team. I have 12 years of experience as an educator. This includes middle school and high school experience in the Language Arts, Literature, English, Grammar, Writing, Composition, Reading, US History, Government and so much more! My experience knows no boundaries, as I have online teaching experience, as well as in traditional brick and mortar schools.
As with everything else in my life, I would say my teaching style is very eclectic. Student centered Project based as much as I can Standards based, which now means Common Core Standards based

I live in the southwest of the US (think Zane Grey novels), after being born on the Great Plains (Little House on the Prairie Territory). Teaching has always been my passion and helping students find some invisible truth about themselves makes it all worthwhile.
