TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught at the high school level for over 22 years. Some of the courses I have taught are: Paideia, Teacher Cadet, AP Literature, AP Language, and all other levels of Secondary English. I absolutely love any level of 11th grade English with 6 years experience, but the majority of my teaching career has been devoted to at-risk ninth graders.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in getting to know my students and what works for them! My teaching style depends on their learning styles. This makes teaching a new puzzle every year for me, and I hope it makes their learning fun, too. I love my students and hope I can make a difference in their lives that goes beyond just English.
