I am a native francophone with over a decade of teaching experience in the fields of French, French as a Second Language, and Science (with instruction in French and English). I have experience in teaching various grades and levels within the Secondary School Board. I have instructed various ranges from applied college levels to the International Baccalaureate program. I am a certified International Baccalaureate instructor and have participated in such training across North America.
I am a passionate believer that learning can be informative as much as it can be fun. I aim to integrated formalized instruction with engaging activities for my students which drive critical thinking, communication, and deliver a child centered approach. I believe that language instruction should incorporate elements of francophone cultures, as French is a living and vibrant language. I deliver upon this belief through the use of literature, music, and activities to keep students motivated and engaged. I strongly believe that the key to success in French learning revolves around communication and ensuring students remain comfortable and confident in their abilities to grow their own language skills.
