TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my sixth year teaching full day kindergarten in a rural Ohio community. I love working with 5 year olds because of their enthusiasm and the amazing growth I see every year!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Hands-on! We do, do, do! We sing, we dance, we move, we manipulate! We question, we model, we discuss, they apply (in one form or another!)

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I get lots of Christmas cards telling me what a great teacher I am : ) Other teachers in my building request me for their students : ) and I've had more than one 5 year old tell me, "You're the best teacher ever!"

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelor's degree: Early Childhood Education, Bowling Green State University 2005 Master's degree: Literacy, University of Dayton 2011
