Michelle has worked in community and hospital (inpatient, outpatient and in child and youth mental health) settings. In over twenty years of work Michelle has worked with young offenders, in day cares supporting families and staff in the daycare with behavioural and developmental difficulties , and taught educational workshops in various topics (parenting, self-care, difficult behaviour, big emotions etc.) to parents, teens, professionals and students. She has presented at conferences, special events and as a guest speaker at local schools and colleges.
I believe in collaboration and giving children a voice. If you want to know what is behind the behaviour we as the adults have to dig a bit deeper. With the right tools anything is possible.

Michelle has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a post graduate diploma in Child Life Studies, both from McMaster University. Michelle has been supporting and educating parents, children, teens and professionals for over twenty years.
Michelle is Mom the Manager because she is the manager of her home. This wasn’t always the case. When Michelle decided to make a change, she created tools to help her get organized. Her tools help build life skills in children. Michelle’s is a writer. Her book “I Quit! Oh Wait I’m the Mom” is a non-fiction self-help book for mom’s. Michelle gives practical tips on how to find your joy again in motherhood.
