I've taught early and middle elementary grades and I have loved all stages!
Children are often visual and kinaesthetic learners. I've made many resources over the years to support children visually, as well as to get them up and moving while they learn. I've also seen the power of scaffolded support to help children grasp trickier concepts. And I know that most children need repetition before new concepts are secure. When I teach (and make resources), I focus on activities that allow children to move and allow them to practice new concepts in a variety of ways, always making sure that there is scaffolding built into the activities.
