This is my 18th year teaching elementary in sunny Southern California! My experiences have ranged from 2nd - 5th grade. Upper elementary is definitely my passion! I love the rigor of the standards, the sense of humor of kids at this age level, and watching each student grow into a mini adult throughout the year. :)
I enjoy hands-on and project based learning! I love activities that go in depth and help kids apply their knowledge to the world around them. I feel it is so important to help kids make meaningful connections to their learning. I love making lessons that include creativity and embrace the various modalities of learning.
Bachelor's Degree - Magna Cum Laude & Masters Degree - Summa Cum Laude
I have my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies, as well as my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on teaching through the arts.
I love creating and designing in my spare time. My other hobbies here on TPT are creating fonts. I hope you enjoy using my resources and thank you for visiting my little shop! :)
