TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Since 2001, I've taught music to elementary school students in almost every capacity imaginable including beginning-intermediate band, 1:1 lessons, summer camps, private group classes, and k-5 general music in public schools.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to create "play-based" environments for students whenever possible, to inspire exploration and independent discovery. I incorporate elements of The Responsive Classroom in to may of my lessons as well as Reggio and Montessori inspired activities.
