I have 18.5 years experience teaching in all levels of education, from elementary to adult education. 15.5 of those years have included various opportunities to enhance the learning opportunities of students with special needs within the parameters of cognitive, behavior and social challenges.
I am constantly applying research based methodologies with creative hands-on learning approaches in order to maximize long and short term retention, real life functional engagement, motivation to succeed and classroom team-building activities.
I am honored daily seeing my students love to learn and truly enjoy being part of a fun, enriching educational program that values their contributions and unique personalities. I was nominated 2 times for teacher of the month.
