I have been teaching for over 15 years. I am a certified elementary school teacher in New York City and in Wisconsin. I am currently working as a Virtual Educator for the US State Department with pre-service teachers. I currently live in Spain and teach English as a foreign language in-person and online to children, teens, and adults. In addition, I have been preparing students for the TOEFL IBT for the last 4 years.
I believe learning should be as visual and as kinesthetic as possible. I enjoy leading learning activities through games, partner activities, speaking and role play activities, and hands-on learning. I have a background in multicultural education and anthropology, so I do design resources that are culturally relevant. I also have a C2 (advanced proficient) level in Spanish, have taught Spanish at the elementary and college level and enjoy designing bilingual resources.
