Chris Atkinson is a passionate educational leader who currently serves as assistant principal in one of the leading school districts in Indiana. Chris is a long time elementary teacher (Chris has taught 2,3,4,5, and 4/5 gifted and talented) and technology coordinator, Google Certified Teacher, STAR Discovery Educator, blogger, podcaster, and presenter. Chris holds an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Taylor University and a Masters in Educational Administration from Ball State. Chris has presented at several venues; most notably ISTE, ICE, and HECC; as well as virtually for Google as well as the Indiana Department of Education. Chris speaks on a variety of topics including: Google Apps in Education, Web 2.0 Tools For The Classroom, Social Networking for Educators, Educational Leadership for the 21st Century, and much more. His presentations are research based and are focused on best practices that bring education forward. Chris has served on both the HECC and ICE boards. Chris blogs online for EdReach as well as produces a daily podcast called The EdAdmin Minute
