I have spent the past 10 years teaching traumatized behaviour children. I have taught in multi year/grade classroom for all of my carrier and in the UK and North America. I am a trained Nurture teacher and my experience is truly reflected in my planning and resources. Units are broken down into smaller, more focused elements that can be taught focusing on slow progression, differentiation and experiential learning.
Hands on, differentiated with a focus on successful stepping stones to learning. With strong boundaries and high expectations along with a focus on relationship building I hope to foster a safe learning environment where everyone can flourish.
Outstanding teacher as judged by Ofsted 2012/2013. I have been published and have given talks about nurture at universities.

I gained a lot of life experience before becoming a teacher (another way to say I'm old!). Through a set of sliding doors I found myself teaching in an amazing Nurture school for traumatized behaviour children and I have been in behaviour ever since.
