TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught the previous four years in Elementary Music, and I'm currently working in Special Education. I also serve on the board for the Children's Chorus of Greater North Texas, and I assist the chorus by incorporating Orff into their rehearsals and performances.

MY TEACHING STYLE

All things Orff. Lot's of movement. Very creative, yet structured. Sing, say, dance, play!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I was awarded a scholarship towards Orff Level 1 from the North Texas Chapter of the American Orff Schulwerk Association.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor's in Music Education in 2010. I also completed Orff Level 1 at SMU in Dallas, TX in 2016.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My Wife and I currently reside in Denison, TX. We have a little boy, Rayne, who is six years old, and a chi-hua-hua, Peanut, who is eight. We are very involved musically at our Church. We also enjoy watching Rayne play sports. In my spare time I like reading and watching movies.
