I have been in many walks of life from construction to teaching. I have learned many valuable lessons in life and share this wisdom with all of my students. I am currently a substitute teacher in West Michigan.
My teaching style revolves around the multiple intelligences of children. Each student has their own individual learning structure and it is up to us, as educators, to motivate according to this. I teach with a platform of mutual respect and positive feedback.
I do not base my life on awards and accolades. The best reward I have ever received is the smile of a child when they feel comfortable in my classroom.
I graduated from Reeths Puffer High School in 1993. After a brief stint in the workforce I went back to UWSP and received my Bachelor's in Education in 2007. I enrolled at Walden University in 2010 to get my Master's in Reading and Literacy. Due to unforeseen circumstances I could not finish my Master's but plan to re-enroll at another university to finish.
I live my life according to the positive laws of the world. I treat everyone around me with respect and kindness. It is important to me that each child that I interact with leaves my company knowing that I am compassionate and understanding of their needs and their life.
