I have been a special education teacher for 12-years. I was an Emotional Support teacher for 3.5 years, a Learning Support English teacher for 4.5 years, and I am currently a Life Skills Support teacher. I have adapted many assignments and assessments over the course of my career and created many activities and resources for the students in my classes.
I love hands-on learning, especially in my current teaching placement as a Life Skills Support teacher.
I was nominated for Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year.
I received my undergraduate degree from Lebanon Valley College in elementary and special education. I have my master's degree from Penn State University in collaboration with the Universidad del Turabo in ESL. I also have my English certification for grades 9-12.
