I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and have taught elementary and middle school students primarily in an ESL setting. My experience spans both public and charter school settings. I also have specialized in tutoring all testing grades (3-8) for our state math testing. I have also spent over twenty-five years of teaching and mentoring PK-12 students in a variety of non-classroom settings. My passion is guided small group-differentiated learning, incorporating the workshop model in all of my teachings. I also bring as much creativity and higher order thinking into everything that I do. I have also had a background in sales and marketing and participate in a variety of musical endeavors.
I have used the guided math/workshop model in my classroom for over ten years. My classroom is small group/differentiated in all areas. I also specialize in RTI tracking materials.
