By Mrs Beattie's Classroom I've been teaching in the public school system in Ontario, Canada since 1998. I am currently teaching all subjects to Grade 5/6, the level I've spent most of my career. I also worked for five years with Grade 2/3 students.
I strive to reach all learners by utilizing a variety of teaching styles and technologies! I love to make learning interactive and engaging by incorporating hands-on activities, and differentiation for reaching all learners is an important part of my classroom planning.

I completed my B.A. with a Child Studies focus in 1997, my B.Ed. with a primary/junior focus (K-6) in 1998, and my 3-part Mathematics Specialist Credentials in 2010. I strive to stay current with educational trends, technology and research, so I consider myself a lifelong learner!
