After graduation, I worked for 4 years at my local Catholic high school, teaching Years 7-9 English and Humanities. This included time as the Humanities Facilitator, where I was responsible for curriculum development, staff and budgets. After that time I transferred to my current school, a Catholic primary school. I'm now entering my 6th year at this school (broken up by two periods of maternity leave) and have been a general classroom teacher for many Grade 3 - 6 students. I have also taught a school wide Healthy Communities Program involving cooking, health and agriculture.
I'm an organised teacher, who loves developing a curriculum rich with lots of fun activities. I make sure that during all units, there is a mix activities suited to a range of learning styles.
