TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 11th year teaching. I have worked with all elementary ages in Title 1 and tutoring situations. However, I have taught kindergarten for six years and just recently moved up to first grade. I enjoy working with Excel and creating my own materials if the curriculum is not provided. I like to keep and stay organized. I absolutely love to teach. I also enjoy seeing when the students walk into my classroom and greet me with a smile.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to teach my students how to be independent and take responsibility for their own education. We do hands on lessons in reading, math, and science.

I graduated in 1986, but didn't go directly to college. I worked in the business field. That changed after my children were in elementary school.I am so glad I made the change. I have enjoyed teaching and all the facets that it entails.
